Perm City authorities pay special attention to the implementation of the revenue side of the municipal budget. When the budget implementation (as of the first quarter of 2008) indicated an increase of revenues into the municipal treasure, Perm City Finance Department proposed to increase the revenue side of the budget by 1,7 billion roubles. The proposal won support of Perm Municipal Duma.

Anatoly Makhovikov, First Deputy City Manager: "Such increase in revenue is due to a successful municipal policy concerning rent and sale of municipal property and land".
